Inspired by love – our story
When Cherie Lyden and her youngest daughter were diagnosed as coeliac in 2014, she looked around and couldn’t find really great gluten-free food. It was all overly sweet, often packed with additives or just plain ‘yuk’, as her five year old would tell her. So Cherie decided to make her own. With a background as a nutritionist and foodie, Cherie was able to develop recipes that weren’t just gluten-free and delicious, but also healthy, with less sugar and zero additives, using fresh, seasonal produce. Since then Cherie’s passion project has evolved into an award-winning bakery and cafe renown for producing food that’s first and foremost delicious, as well as being 100% gluten-free.

A passionate team
We’re a tightknit team of people who all love food and are driven to share that love by making the most delicious bread, cakes, pies and pastries possible, that happen to be gluten-free. We make everything by hand with the freshest, seasonal ingredients, and constantly strive to raise the bar in gluten-free.

Innovation is our jam
When we started out in 2014, there wasn’t a lot of good gluten-free around, let alone great. We saw the opportunity to be the frontrunners in making great food that just happened to be gluten-free, real food that was made from the best, freshest ingredients. Delicious food.
We’d be lying if we said it’s been easy – it’s hard without the magic elasticity of gluten – but we’ve been pushing the boundaries in what’s possible with gluten-free for five years now. All the hard work and endless experimentation has been so worthwhile – we’ve cracked the code on everything from croissants to baguettes and we’re now able to offer our customers a wide variety of gluten-free baked goods that you just can’t find anywhere else.
Our customers mean the world to us and the reward of seeing broad smiles break across their faces when they eat our food is sweet indeed.
